But through it all

Creation, the beginning of it all
We do not treat the Word of God like any other word we hear by man. But respect and love the Word from Him. We are starting our journey on Creation, where everything all began! Starting in Genesis 1, we will understand why God made us and what our purpose is here on earth!
As Alex’s mother I homeschooled three children, each with their own challenges, I have learned to use what the Lord blesses me with each day. Each child is unique and the Lord has given them passions/talents to overcome the challenges they face, allowing me to point them to Him through each lesson.
For example, I knew at a young age that Alex had a love for the Japanese art form of Anime. We took real life situations, whether it was the challenges she faced in reading and spelling (due to Dyslexia) or being bullied at school, and I asked her to express what she was feeling through Anime illustration. We also talked about what God says about self-confidence, and Alex would start drawing it. She drew what she felt, I brought God into it, and we intertwined them together. Scripture needs something to hang on to – and it can be different for each child.
Little did we know, the passion the Lord instilled in Alex for Anime and the inspiration He gave me to use it to teach Alex and point her to Him, would turn into Emily & Poppy. Sharing God’s word to children worldwide.
Romans 8:28: And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
